- I am first and foremost a mother • I love children and know they are our best and brightest hope for the future • It is for them that I dedicate this little space on the web • A most regrettable and personal tragedy ten years ago changed my life forever - an event that caused me to tumble into the darker realms of this existence • I eventually found my way back to the light and emerged as an activist • My view of the world has greatly expanded as the result of the experiences I have been through, and I now find myself traveling along an entirely different road • It is a road that is often steep and rugged, and sometimes when I wonder if I have the strength to continue forward into unknown territory, I remember that abyss from the past, and I realize there is no turning back • Then, too - I have met the most incredible men and women on this journey who share my new outlook on life • Together we are working to make our world a safer place for our children • Come and walk with me for awhile and see what I am doing to change my world • Quite possibly you'll be inspired to change your own •
